Concrete Art

Many of my designs were sculpted in clay first. Once I was happy with the sculpture, I would lovingly make molds by applying up to 8 layers of a platinum silicone by hand. The layering and drying time in between would often take up to 12 hours to complete. I would then hand mix my concrete in a bowl with a mixing spoon so I could control the consistency. It was all worth the process once the concrete cast was ready to emerge from the mold. Seeing my design become a solid form of concrete was so satisfying. The art Is In the process with concrete.

My concrete cake stands were used in displays across the state for many bridal fairs and events.

I expanded my concrete art to making concrete jewelry.
